About Us

On Ray Boll Blvd, there is a place where a stranger walks in for their first bingo night and leaves feeling like a regular. That is the reputation Elks Lodge 521 has built over decades of service to Columbus, Indiana, and it shows up in every review, every handshake, and every holiday food drive.

The Lodge is chartered under the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, one of America's oldest fraternal organizations, but the work here is anything but abstract. When a Columbus parent could not afford Christmas gifts for her son, Lodge members stepped in. When first-timers show up nervous about bingo rules, the staff walks them through every card. That combination of civic muscle and personal warmth is what sets this place apart from any ordinary event hall.

With a 4.5-star rating backed by 68 community reviews, Lodge 521 earns its reputation game night after game night, charity drive after charity drive. If you have never set foot inside, consider this your invitation.

What We Offer

Bingo nights at Lodge 521 are a full experience, not just a game. The hall fills with energy, the callers keep the pace brisk, and the staff make sure newcomers feel at home from the first dauber stamp. Players must be 18 or older, so the room carries a relaxed adult atmosphere that keeps the fun genuine.

Beyond bingo, the Lodge operates as a full-service event venue available for private parties, receptions, and community gatherings. The space can accommodate groups of varying sizes, and the team brings the same hospitality to private bookings that regulars enjoy every week.

Lodge 521 also runs year-round community programs, including holiday assistance initiatives, youth scholarship funds, and veteran support efforts aligned with the national Elks mission. Membership is open to U.S. citizens who believe in God, and joining connects you to a network of neighbors who show up when it counts.

"My husband and I went for our first bingo experience. Must be 18+ to attend- kiddos aren’t even permitted in the building during play. Staff were super helpful and nice. Let me say this- bingo is not for the faint of heart. I was mentally exhausted after 21 rounds of bingo over 4 hours. I have absolutely no idea how some of the ladies were making side bets and conversations while I was struggling to keep up with the number calls. This is serious bingo play. I will return one day but I couldn’t handle that weekly. Up to $30ish to play, depending on the packs you get. There is a yummy snack bar- with treats available. I was permitted to bring my own water cup- which I appreciated."

"I spent a nice evening with family. The burgers are good but the karaoke was a bit too loud for me. It was tough to hear conversations around me."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
